The service

Zoning Watchdog reads public planning agendas and notices and alerts you to filings that match your keywords. By creating an account you agree to these terms and to our Privacy page.

Information, not advice

Filings are extracted automatically by software that can make mistakes, and cities can change or withdraw documents. Every alert links to the source. Always confirm details with the city before you act. Nothing here is legal, financial or investment advice, and we are not responsible for decisions you make using the service.

Your account

You sign in with a link emailed to you. Keep your mailbox secure; anyone who can open the link can use your account. You must give a real email address you control. Team seats on the Desk plan are for people in your organisation.

Plans and payment

• Scout is free. Investor is $49 per month or $490 per year. Desk is $199 per month. Prices are in US dollars and may exclude tax.
• Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal and keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for.
• Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record, which collects any VAT or sales tax and issues invoices. Its terms apply to the payment.
• If a payment fails, paid features pause until it is resolved. Refunds follow Dodo Payments' policy and our discretion; ask at support@kentehq.com.
• Limits (markets, keywords, seats, export requests) are enforced by the service and listed on the pricing page. Text alerts are provided when text messaging is available.

Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to bypass plan limits, rate limits or authentication.
• Do not resell or republish the data as a competing alert or data service. Internal use by you and your team is fine.
• Do not use the service to harass anyone or to break the law.
• Keep your API key secret. You are responsible for requests made with it.

Availability

We check cities on a schedule and alerts depend on cities publishing documents on time. We aim for the service to be available but do not promise uninterrupted operation or that every filing is found.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from the Security tab. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms. If we end the service we will tell you and not charge you beyond the period already paid.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is", and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
